Alderfer Glass Company Passes Validation Audit by the Auto Glass Safety Council™
Alderfer Glass Company of Limerick, PA recently passed as compliant on an on-site random safety audit by the Auto Glass Safety Council (AGSC) by undergoing a third-party validation process required by all Registered Members of the AGSC.
The AGSC is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the safe replacement of auto glass. It is the definitive authority on safe auto glass installation practices and is responsible for North America’s only auto glass replacement standard, the Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standard™ (AGRSS). Registered Members of the AGSC are committed to the highest standard of quality and the strongest commitment to safety.
What separates AGSC is the validation process that all members must undergo. Registered Members endure random, periodic third-party inspections of the company, personnel and procedures.
“In an industry increasingly working towards speed and efficiency, Alderfer Glass remains committed to safety as a top priority for our auto glass division” says Dale Alderfer, President of Alderfer Glass Company.
“AGSC Registered Member companies do not just say that they follow the AGRSS Standard,” says AGSC president Debra Levy. “They prove it by participating in the third-party validation review process. We salute Alderfer Glass Company and its fellow Registered Members for proving their commitment to the safety of their customers through this rigorous process.”
During an AGSC validation, independent third-party validators verify that a company’s actions and answers coincide with the AGRSS Standard and the company’s adhesive manufacturer’s instructions.
